Our Love Story
Our love story began when we were classmates. At first, very little conversation was shared between us. We were simply two fourth-year students during the school year 2013–2014. However, before the school year ended, Crisa began to be noticed more often by Elden. What Elden didn’t know was that he had already been noticed by Crisa on the very first day of class.
As time passed, more moments were shared together. One of the things that was loved by both of them was watching Jamich films on the second floor of Pacific Mall and sometimes at their classmate’s house. During those simple moments, they were brought closer together, and little by little, they began to understand each other better. Those days were filled with laughter, quiet conversations, and memories that slowly turned a simple friendship into something much more meaningful.

Crisa finally said yes to Elden on April 13, but Elden hesitated because he believed the date was unlucky. Because of this, they talked about choosing another date instead. Crisa suggested April 14, but Elden didn’t agree because it was the monthsary of one of their friends. April 15 was also not possible since it was the monthsary of Crisa’s older sister, and April 16 was already the monthsary of another friend. Since they didn’t know anyone who celebrated their monthsary on the 17th, they both agreed to choose that date instead. In the end, they settled on April 17—the day they officially became a couple and the date they would celebrate as their monthsary and anniversary. Looking back, they realize they were still quite immature at the time, but those little quirks and innocent decisions became part of the story that made their relationship special.

Years passed. We finished college together and started working on our chosen fields. From being teenagers who enjoyed simple street food dates, we eventually found ourselves dining in restaurants we had once only dreamed of trying. But what never changed was our choice to stay by each other’s side, choosing each other every single day.
Then, on December 22, 2024, everything became even more beautiful during their friends’ Christmas party in Agdangan, Quezon. In the middle of the celebration, Elden got down on one knee and asked Crisa to marry him. With happy tears and the biggest “Yes!”, their journey entered a new chapter—they became engaged.
After 12 wonderful years of growing up side by side, laughing, supporting each other, and building a love that started so simply… we are finally getting married.

From two teenagers holding hands in Perez Park
to saying “I do” in front of our family and friends — this is our forever beginning.
